Clean air, held steady.

Cleanroom Control and its Pyr controller run your fan filter units and watch pressure, temperature, humidity and particles around the clock. When something drifts, the right people hear about it in seconds.

One Pyr controller per room. Everything else happens in the app.

1

Install the Pyr controller

Mount the touchscreen in the room and give it power and a network connection: Ethernet, with Wi-Fi as a backup. It's named after the Great Pyrenees, the dog that guards its flock day and night.

2

Pair it to your account

The screen shows a pairing code. Enter the code in the app and the room appears on your account.

3

Find your equipment

Connect your fan filter units and sensors. The controller finds each one and names it — FFU-1, FFU-2, TH-1 — with no programming, and they appear on the screen and in the app.

Setting one up?The Quick Start guide walks through every step with real screens: install, get online, pair and set up the room.

Everything your cleanroom needs, in one system.

Monitoring and alarms

Know the moment something changes.

  • Live readings Pressure, temperature, humidity and particle counts, live on the wall screen and in the app.
  • Alarm emails Set limits for each reading. Cross one and the right people get a clear email with the reading, the limit and a chart of the last half hour, then another when it is back in range. A horn or strobe can sound in the room.
  • Alarm escalation If nobody acknowledges an alarm in time, the next people on your list are told, step by step, until someone does.
  • History and trends Every reading is recorded, even through an internet outage, with trend charts and a weekly and monthly summary email.
  • Your units Show temperature in °F or °C and pressure in inches of water or pascals. The app, alarm emails and reports all use your choice.
  • Expandable memory The controller has a microSD slot. Add a card, up to 32 GB, and it keeps years of readings right in the room, plus a backup of its whole setup.
The app’s Trends tab: 24 hours of room pressure and temperature, with the alarm limits as dashed lines and a dip below the low limit.

Control

Run the room from one place.

  • Fan filter units Set each fan's speed or all of them at once. One controller runs up to 32 fans, and fans keep their speed even if the controller restarts.
  • Automatic pressure Set a pressure target and the controller adjusts the fans to hold it, through people coming and going and filters loading.
  • Schedules Full speed during production, a lower setback speed nights and weekends.
  • Areas within a room Name the spaces one controller runs, and alarms say exactly where.
  • Day and night looks The wall screen can use a light look, a dark look, or Day/night, which switches by itself: light during working hours and dark at night. Change it on the screen or from the app.
The app’s Live tab: automatic pressure control holding its target, the fan mode from the schedule, and live readings and fan speeds for one area.

Access and records

Who changed what, and when.

  • Roles for your team Owners, admins, operators and viewers each see and change only what they should. The wall screen can be locked with a PIN.
  • Two-factor sign-in Signing in can need a 6-digit code from an app on your phone as well as the password, so a stolen password alone can't get in. The company owner can require it for everyone.
  • Activity log and signed changes Every change is logged with who made it. Turn on signed changes to require a password and a reason for each one.
  • Maintenance and calibration Reminders when a sensor is due for calibration or a fan for service, by date or by run hours, and a record of every time it was done.
  • Reports Readings, trends, alarms, maintenance and changes for any date range, with your company logo, ready to print or save as a PDF for audits and certification.

Help when you need it

Your installer is one button away.

  • Request help Your installer sees whether your rooms are running. Click Request help and they can look in and fix things for 24 hours, then access closes on its own.
  • Your installer's name on everything The company that set up your system can put its logo, name and phone number on your emails, reports and the wall screen, so you always know who to call.
  • Updates over the internet New controller software installs from the app, or by tapping Check for updates on the wall screen, in about a minute. If anything goes wrong, the controller goes back to its previous version by itself.
  • Swap a controller in minutes If a controller ever fails, move its memory card to a new one and restore its setup. The room keeps its history, alarms and records in the app.
  • Private by design Each company's rooms, readings and records are kept separate from every other company.
The app’s help request: the installer can see and change the rooms for 24 hours, with the request note.
